Technical & FAQ's
Our structures are designed and engineered with all weather conditions in mind
Tranquil building experience through complete transparency.
This part of your tent is the most exposed to the elements. Its main job it to protect the PVC rain fly below it from the sun. It also has another interesting job.
When raining extremely hard the shade will slow the velocity of the rain before it lands on the PVC rain fly below the shade fly which reduces the sound of the rain on the PVC. It does not totally eliminate the sound, but it allows you to enjoy the sound of the rain but not let it get to the point of irritating, which can happen when it rains for hours on end.
This part of the tent is quite simple, its job is to help protect the Tent Body, which is below the the PVC rain fly, from rain and other elements.
The PVC rain fly tightly attached to the top of the tent frame. This helps camouflage the frame so at it is less visible. Ones the tent body is put it place the roof frame become very hard to see unless looking in between the layers of roofing.
The tent frame is the back bone of our tents. It job it to support the tent body below it and the PVC and Shade Fly above it.
The framing was designed to go in between the layers of roofing. This allow for about 80% of the tent frame to be mostly not visible. We offer types of steel on our tent frames.
This is the space and area that you will be staying in and under. The canvas that we use is some of the strongest in the world.
Its a rip-stop 500 GSM cotton and polyester blend military grade canvas. All our tents are treated with an anti rot, mildew, and fire compounds. If some chooses to not use these compounds on their tent we can do that at request, no problem.
This part of the tent is the inner most layer. It comes with some tents and is an optional extra for others. It is only for aesthetics.
It gives the tent a very nice soft luxury feeling on the inside. Some people love it and sometimes other people prefer the canvas roof showing. When getting the inner liner you can also get curtains, which are made of the same material. They look best when together. The inner liner can also help lighten up your tent. Light reflects better on the bull denim then it does on the canvas and can also cast some very nice shadows contouring shadows that can make the tent feel very romantic and defined.
